Bactigyn Ovules is a medical device, in the form of ovules to be inserted into the vagina, indicated as an adjuvant in the prophylaxis, treatment and prevention of vaginal infections and their recurrences, such as vaginitis, bacterial vaginosis and fungal infections, and in cases of alterations to the vaginal environment due to prolonged treatment or hormonal imbalances.

Bactigyn Ovules helps restore the vaginal ecosystem, preventing and counteracting vaginal dryness and symptoms of irritation such as itching, redness, burning, swelling and pain.

It contains lactic acid to help restore the vagina's physiological pH, while sodium hyaluronate moisturizes and helps regenerate the mucous membranes.

In addition, the presence of tyndallized lactobacilli helps protect the vaginal environment by preventing the adhesion of pathogenic micro-organisms.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

The recommended dose is one ovule per day, to be taken in the evening before bedtime, for at least seven consecutive days in the case of moderate symptoms, or 10 consecutive days if symptoms persist, at the end of the menstrual cycle or as directed by the treating physician. On the advice of the attending physician, several non-consecutive treatment cycles may be repeated to increase or maintain the effects obtained.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage of one ovule per day.

After washing your hands, remove one ovule from the blister pack by separating the packaging flaps. In the supine position, insert the ovum deep into the vagina, after thorough intimate cleansing.
