Smebiocta Comfort® is the first probiotic launched by Ipsen. In 2016, Ipsen signed a licensing and supply agreement with Probi for the commercialization of its probiotic strain Lactobacillus plantarum 299v (LP299V®). Smebiocta Comfort® is a scientifically recognized microbiotic strain that interacts with the microbiota to contribute to intestinal comfort.
