Native to Asia, this tree with its gray-brown bark has very small, dark-green leaves and flowers in small groups at the tips of the twigs. The fruit is an ovoid cone (4 cm), green then brown when ripe, with clasping scales. These large, pyramidal, evergreen trees were dedicated to Pluto, God of the empire of the dead, which explains their frequent presence in cemeteries.

  • Rubbing - Recipe for hot feet and excessive perspiration: 5 drops HECT Ciste ladanifère + 12 drops HECT Cypress evergreen + 25 drops HECT Lavandin + 5 drops HECT Peppermint. 3 drops of the mixture, rubbed into each arch of the foot morning and evening.
  • For massage, a few drops diluted in a vegetable oil for local application.
