What is turmeric?

Turmeric is a perennial plant about 1 m high, native to India. From its thick rhizome grows a stem wrapped in long, veined leaves with small, yellowish flowers topped with pink bracts. The rhizome, the part used medicinally, is harvested once the aerial parts have wilted.

What are the benefits of turmeric?

Turmeric helps maintain liver health and is used to aid digestion. It also contributes to the physiological secretion of bile and prevents the accumulation of fats by facilitating their removal by the liver.

Where does the turmeric in Phytobiane come from?

We have selected certified organic turmeric grown in Vietnam and Mauritius.

The rhizomes are harvested after 2 years to ensure they are sufficiently rich in active ingredients. Our turmeric extract is then produced in France. We apply a specific extraction process to each plant to extract the Phyto-Signature PiLeJe Complex (PSPC), guaranteeing its biological activity.

Phytobiane Curcuma has been developed in an extended-release form, which enables the active ingredient to be released over a longer period than a conventional form.
