What is passionflower?

Passionflower is a climbing plant found in Central and South America, tropical Asia and Polynesia. Its flowers are solitary and large (5 to 9 cm). The fruit is ovoid, resembling a small apple with yellow flesh.

Where does the passionflower in Phytobiane come from?

We have selected passionflower grown mainly in France, in the Landes region, and certified organic.

Passionflowers grow for 5 months in greenhouses or in the open ground, and the aerial parts are harvested at the end of summer, in August, when the plant is richest in active ingredients. Our passionflower extract is then produced in France. We apply a specific extraction process to each plant in order to extract the Complexe Phyto-Signature PiLeJe (CPSP), guaranteeing its biological activity.

Phytobiane Passiflore has been developed in an extended-release form, which enables the active ingredient to be released over a longer period than a conventional form.
