How to clean the Lansinoh soothing post-delivery pad :

After each use, the reusable pad should be cleaned with mild soap and water or disinfected with isopropyl alcohol (70%). Rinse thoroughly until soap and all residues have been removed. Before next use, the compress must be completely air-dried.

Unless otherwise recommended by your healthcare professional, the post-delivery soothing towel should be used for a maximum of 20 minutes. There should be at least one hour between applications. Prolonged periods of use may cause injury, including burns. Always check the temperature before use.

- For hot use: just a few seconds in the microwave. Gently knead the pad to distribute the hot beads evenly. The color indicator (white) shows you which beads are hot.

- For cold use: place the compress in the freezer 4 hours before use. The color indicator (purple) shows you the frozen beads.

For greater comfort and hygiene, the soothing cold/warm post-delivery pad can be placed in the hygienic protection pouch supplied. Do not heat or freeze with the protective pouch.

Cold relief for post-partum pain

Soothes post-partum pain such as hematomas in the perineal area, Caesarean section pain or pain caused by the appearance of hemorrhoids. The compress must be frozen for four hours before use. The compress remains soft and flexible even after freezing, and adapts to the shape of the body.

Post-delivery soothing warmth

The warm soothing post-delivery towel can be placed on the abdomen during or after childbirth. It relieves spasmodic symptoms when the uterus retracts after childbirth. The Lansinoh post-delivery pad can be heated in the microwave or in a pan of hot water. To heat the pad, please follow the precise instructions in the enclosed instructions for use.
