Vitamin B9 is essential for the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. It also helps reduce fatigue. It plays many other roles, notably in blood formation, the normal metabolism of homocysteine and the normal functioning of the immune system.
During pregnancy, vitamin B9 can be taken on its own, but you can also find it with other nutrients in "Prenatal Nutrients Solgar", in its folic acid form.
Metafolin is in the innovative form of "methylfolate", a particularly interesting form as it is highly available and directly active.
