Medela Contact™ breast tips are a short-term solution to make breastfeeding easier when latching on is difficult or painful, as they protect irritated nipples and help your baby latch on more easily.
What is a breast tip?
A breast tip is a thin piece of soft silicone that you place over your nipple to protect it before breastfeeding. Its tip is pierced with holes to let your milk flow into your baby's mouth. Some moms worry that a "barrier" between them and their baby will interfere with the intimacy of their breastfeeding. Medela's Contact™ breast tips therefore feature an open cutout so you can make the most of skin-to-skin contact.
