EMOFLON Rectal Ointment - 25g

Contraindication:

Do not use emoflon® if you are allergic to lanolin or any other ingredient in this product

Do not use emoflon® if you have bleeding hemorrhoids.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding :

emoflon® is not contraindicated during pregnancy or breastfeeding, but it is recommended that you consult your doctor.

Drug interactions :

There are no known interactions with other drugs. However, it is advisable to inform your doctor or pharmacist before using this rectal ointment simultaneously with other rectal treatments.

Simultaneous use of a rectal ointment and a condom may reduce the effectiveness of the condom.

Undesirable effects :

The use of any local treatment, particularly long-term, may lead to hypersensitivity reactions, the symptoms of which may include burning, itching, pain or erythema. If you experience such symptoms, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.

Warnings :

Keep out of sight and reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow.

emoflon® rectal ointment must not be used in the vagina.

The ointment should be applied 1-2 times a day. Treatment duration depends on symptom improvement, but should not exceed 4 weeks without interruption. However, if your symptoms persist beyond 1-2 weeks, it's important to consult your doctor.

Sucralfate, cocoa butter, lanolin (vegetable origin), white petroleum jelly, white beeswax, purified water, caprilyl glycol, calendula extract, chamomile extract, witch hazel leaf extract.
