CELNAT Small Oat Flakes - 500g

The origin and evolution of oats remain undetermined, as there are numerous species and subspecies of plants in the Avena family that have been found in regions ranging from Asia Minor to Turkmenistan. Its cultivation then spread to the rest of the world. In the past, it was a staple food for the peoples of Northern Europe (Vikings, Germans, Scots, Irish). It is perfectly suited to the climate of Scandinavia, but is also grown in France, where it is essentially organic.

These wholemeal oats are pre-cooked in steam, making them very practical and easy to use.

Oat fiber beta-glucans help maintain normal cholesterol levels. To achieve this beneficial effect, a daily intake of 3 g of beta-glucans is required. This corresponds to around 2 servings of oats or barley, in the form of grains, flakes, flour or bran. A single 45 g serving of creamy porridge provides half the recommended dose, or 1.5 g of beta-glucans.

Oatmeal is also rich in fiber, magnesium and phosphorus.

It's important to have a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
