Benefits of Chrono PréBioPro

This Biocompatible complex combines the synergy of 4 Microbiotes and 3 Prebiotics to nourish and develop the bacteria of the intestinal flora and thus contribute to its balance.
Microbiota are live, ingested micro-organisms capable of having a beneficial effect on the intestinal flora.

Prebiotics are compounds that must not be altered before reaching the colon, in order to provide a substrate for one or more beneficial bacteria to feed and develop.

Efficacy and safety

Laboratoire Activa uses the microbiota Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum and Infantis, Lactobacillus rhamnosus.

To enhance effectiveness, 2 capsules of PréBioPro provide the body with 24 billion beneficial bacteria.

The Prebiotics used are :

- Ribose, a "sugar" meeting the definition of a prebiotic.
- F.O.S (Fructo-oligosaccharides).

Intestinal flora

Composition

The intestinal flora is the set of bacteria (around 100,000 billion of 400 different species) that live together in our intestines, and which is formed after birth. Most of these bacteria are harmless or beneficial.

Others are potentially pathogenic (they can make you ill), but are too few in number compared to the good bacteria to have any effect. So it's important to maintain the right balance to avoid the development of pathogenic bacteria already present or arriving in our intestines every day through our food.

The role of intestinal flora

The bacteria of the intestinal flora feed on unused food by-products (fibers, cartilage, etc.) and perform a number of important functions:

- Digestion: the flora completes the digestion of food through the process of fermentation. It is also involved in digestive motricity, in other words, intestinal transit.
- Nutrient assimilation.
- Elimination of waste: capture of cholesterol, elimination of toxic substances such as ammonia, nitrites, etc.
- Barrier against infection: the bacteria in the intestinal flora stimulate macrophages and lymphocytes, which play a major role in the body's general immunity.
- A balanced intestinal flora is therefore essential for general well-being.

Activa Laboratories combine microbiota and prebiotics to help "friendly" bacteria multiply in the intestines.

Preservation of bacteria

Patented micro-encapsulation technology (probiocap) protects microbiota bacteria from heat, crushing and high acidity. This guarantees easier storage conditions and better passage through the gastric barrier.
