THERAPEARL combines the healing power of hot and cold therapy in one convenient pouch. Enjoy extraordinary relief from everyday aches and pains, and feel the optimum therapeutic benefit.

COLD THERAPY - Freeze for at least two hours.

HEAT THERAPY - Heat in a microwave oven for the period indicated below and test the mask temperature. Heat for a further five seconds at a time, until the desired temperature is reached.
Suggested heating time for one (1) THERA°PEARL eye mask
700-watt microwave oven: 15 seconds
1000-watt microwave oven: 12 seconds
1250-watt microwave oven: 10 seconds

Caution: Always check the temperature of the compress before application. Prolonged application may cause injury, including burns. Do not use on infants. Do not use if you have circulatory problems. Do not use thermotherapy on stitches or open wounds. Do not fall asleep while using the compress. Use only under adult supervision. For extreme, prolonged or chronic pain, consult a doctor. Use only as directed. Heating beyond the suggested time may damage or destroy the THERAPEARL compress. Do not puncture or ingest contents. For external use only

Cold therapy: Freeze for at least 2 hours.

Heat therapy: Microwave for the time and temperature indicated. Do not apply for more than 20 minutes. Wait at least 20 minutes before reapplying. If necessary, reapply for a further 20 minutes. Microwave: recommended heating time for Therapearl Pocket: 700 W - 14 sec / 1000 W - 12 sec / 1250 W - 10 sec.

The compress can also be heated in hot water in a saucepan. Fill a large saucepan with sufficient water. Bring the water to the boil. Remove the pan from the heat. Immerse the compress completely in the water, without letting it touch the bottom of the pan, for 2-3 minutes. Use a non-metallic, non-cutting utensil to immerse and remove the compress from the water.

Do not let the pad come into contact with the pan or heat source, as direct contact may damage it. If the pad has not reached the desired temperature, re-immerse it for a further minute.

Do not leave the pad unattended during heating.

Test its temperature and dry it before applying it to the skin. Always check for damage and bead leakage before use. Do not use if damaged.
