Adapting the upper gutter

1-Place the temperature indicator in a pan filled with 7 to 8 centimetres of cold water and bring the water up to temperature. Stop the heat source when the center of the temperature indicator turns from green to red (optimum temperature). Leave upper gutter in hot water for 3 minutes.

2-Stand in front of a mirror. Remove the gutter from the hot water with a spoon, shaking it to remove the water. Using your thumbs on either side, insert the tray, aligning the black vertical line between the two upper central incisors. Make sure the tray is aligned with the entire dentition, bite down hard and press the front of the tray against the side of the teeth with your fingers. Release tooth pressure and rinse mouth with cold water. Allow to cool in the mouth for 2 minutes.

Fitting the lower mouthpiece (hooks at the back)

3-Do the same operation described in 1 for the lower mouthpiece, but observe the following instructions:

- Keep upper gutter in mouth

- Align the black line on the lower splint with that on the upper splint.
