Dilute a few drops of essential oil in a neutral oil (sweet almond, macadamia, calendula, hazelnut, hemp...) and massage into the painful area.

Wintergreen essential oil is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or children under 6 years of age. It should not be used by people on anticoagulant therapy, or by those allergic to salicylates (such as aspirin). It is also not recommended for people with asthma, ulcers, hiatal hernia, eczema or those about to undergo surgery. Consumption by mouth is strictly discouraged, and can only be done on the prescription of a therapist or doctor. For cutaneous application, it must be diluted in vegetable oil, as it can be irritating to the skin. To check skin tolerance, we recommend testing by placing 2 drops on the crease of the elbow, and waiting at least 24 hours to see whether or not this causes a reaction.
