What is lemon balm?

Lemon balm is a herbaceous plant with large leaves that appear from June to September and give off a scent reminiscent of lemon. This perennial plant, common in Europe, has been cultivated on all types of soil for over 30 years.

What are the benefits of lemon balm?

Lemon balm has a beneficial effect on inner well-being and promotes the natural rhythm of sleep. Indeed, this plant contributes to optimal relaxation and helps maintain healthy sleep patterns. Lemon balm also contributes to the normal functioning of the intestinal tract.

Where does the lemon balm in Phytobiane come from?

We have selected French lemon balm, certified organic and produced in Ile-de-France, Maine-et-Loire or Puy-de-Dôme.

We work hand in hand with our lemon balm growers to determine with them the most favourable period for harvesting the leaves, so as to obtain the composition richest in active ingredients. Our lemon balm extract is then produced in France. We apply a specific extraction process to each plant to extract the Phyto-Signature PiLeJe Complex (PSPC), guaranteeing its biological activity.

Phytobiane Lemon Balm has been developed in an extended-release form, which enables the active ingredient to be released over a longer period than a conventional form.
