Nutrof Total is a dietary supplement containing antioxidant vitamins and trace elements, lutein, zeaxanthin, omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and an extract of Vitis vinifera (resveratrol).

ANTIOXIDANTS :

Vitamin E, zinc, copper and vitamin C help protect cells against oxidative stress:

Vitamin E is present in vegetable oils.
Vitamin C is found in various fruits and vegetables.
Zinc, found in meat and fish, helps maintain normal vision.
Copper is found in offal, shellfish and dried fruit.

LUTEIN AND ZEAXANTHIN:

Lutein and zeaxanthin are two yellow pigments found in significant quantities in certain green vegetables such as spinach, broccoli and lettuce.

OMEGA 3 ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS (DHA, EPA AND DPA) :

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosapentaenoic acid (DPA) are three polyunsaturated fatty acids belonging to the omega 3 family.

Omega-3s are essential fatty acids. They must be provided by the diet, or by supplementation when the diet is insufficient or unbalanced.

Omega-3s are abundant in the flesh of oily fish such as tuna, salmon and herring.

DHA helps maintain normal vision. The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 250 mg of DHA per day.

DRIED EXTRACT OF VITIS VINIFERA (RESVERATROL):

Grapes are rich in phenolic compounds, including resveratrol, found in certain fruits (notably oilseeds) and in wine.
