Coenzyme Q10 is used by mitochondria to produce ATP for cells. Coenzyme Q10 is essential for the body's energy production. Mitochondria produce over 90% of the body's energy, and their fuel is coenzyme Q10. Coenzyme Q10 is essential for cellular respiration. It also has antioxidant properties.
