As a magnesium treatment, on the advice and under the supervision of your doctor or naturopath:
Dilute 20 g of powder in 1 liter of water and shake until completely dissolved. The resulting solution can be stored in the refrigerator. As the taste is very bitter, some people prefer to mix it with lemon juice or dilute it further before swallowing.
Magnesium chloride has a laxative effect, so start gradually.
Used as a coagulant in the manufacture of tofu. Using nigari gives tofu a softer appearance and a sweeter flavor.
Tofu produced in this way can be eaten as is, or used in miso soup, sukiyaki (Japanese fondue), salads and frying.
Can also be used in magnesian water (see preparation)
As a poultice for wounds or burns (and even to dilute clay for use as a poultice on varicose ulcers).
May contain traces of gluten*, soy*, nuts* (hazelnuts*, almonds*, cashews*) and sesame*.
