Edward Bach developed the 38 Original Bach Flower Remedies between 1928 and 1935 in England.
He moved to Mount Vernon in Oxfordshire to devote himself to research into the integration of nature into medicine.
Edward Bach was convinced that the individual's state of mind and emotional well-being were the key to good health. He spent many years exploring the use of flowers and plants to develop his simple, gentle method of 38 flower essences, in Oxfordshire, England, where we still prepare the essences exactly as he did.
Developed in 1936, the RESCUE® blend is made up of 5 Original Bach® flowers that contribute to everyday serenity for the whole family, whatever the circumstances.
The link between Nelsons and Bach® Original Flowers goes back to the 1930s and Edward Bach himself. Faced with a growing demand for flower essences, he called on Nelsons' homeopathic pharmacy to help him bottle them and make them available to the public. On his death, Norah Weeks, his assistant, took over, and the relationship continues. Nelsons continues to develop, and we now manufacture and distribute flower essences worldwide with the support of the Bach Centre.
