Avene Cicalfate Lotion 40 ml combines drying, repairing and anti-bacterial properties to restore integrity to damaged, oozing skin.
Cicalfate Lotion does not sting or stain clothing.
- Repairing: sucralfate in micronized form, an original repairing active ingredient, rapidly restores skin comfort by promoting the regeneration of damaged epidermis. What's more, by binding to skin proteins, it forms a light protective film over the lesion.
- Antibacterial: The combination of copper sulfate, zinc sulfate and zinc oxide in synergistic concentrations effectively combats excessive germ development.
- Drying: Of natural origin, silicates have an original layered structure. When combined with zinc oxide, they help control skin oozing by absorbing it, and maintain the skin's moisture level.
- Soothing, anti-irritating: Thanks to Avène Thermal Spring Water, which soothes fragile skin and relieves cutaneous irritations.

Proven effectiveness:
Tested on 1163 patients with oozing skin lesions. Cicalfate Lotion asséchante réparatrice was applied twice a day for 15 days. Oozing stopped after an average of 4.5 days. Very good healing quality. Overall positive opinion from the dermatologist in terms of efficacy and speed of action. Tolerance "good to very good" in over 97% of cases.

Specific References

Shake bottle before use. Turn cap a quarter-turn to the left to open, and to the right to close. Cleanse the skin area, then apply Cicalfate Lotion 2 times a day with a compress or directly with the applicator tip. Cicalfate Lotion does not sting or stain clothing.
Avoid contact with eyes.
