This topical cream, developed by KCI Laboratories, works by providing a moist wound environment to protect against abrasion, friction and drying. The hyaluronic acid (HA) it contains is naturally produced by the body and plays a part in the structural organization of tissues. In particular, it contributes to the elasticity of blood vessels and the skin's hydration mechanisms, while promoting the proliferation of cells that help reconstitute tissues during healing.
