Royal Jelly contains mainly water, proteins and sugars, but also lipids, minerals and vitamins, as well as 10-HDA (10-hydroxydecanoic acid) and 10-H2DA (10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid) fatty acids.
The most important ingredient is apalbumin-1 (2.5%) in Arkoroyal®* royal jelly. It is beneficial for bees thanks to its nutritive and antibacterial properties.
Royal jelly contains at least 100 times more apalbumin than honey. Fed exclusively on honey, a larva becomes a bee. Fed royal jelly, however, the larva becomes a queen and lives up to 40 times longer than its fellow bees. Although royal jelly was consumed in ancient civilizations, its properties have only been identified in recent decades.

Lactic ferments (formerly known as "probiotics") are bacteria or yeasts naturally present in the body. Numerous scientific studies have been carried out on their properties.

The quality of the strains is essential: we need to ensure that the bacterial strains are stable, that storage and production conditions are optimal, and that dosage is an important factor. Strains must be kept viable until the expiration date, thanks to optimized and reinforced packaging (protection against light and oxygen).
