Drug interactions

• Ginseng may lower blood sugar levels. If you are under treatment for diabetes, ask your doctor for advice.

• Royal Jelly contains mainly water, proteins and sugars, but also lipids, minerals and vitamins, as well as 10-HDA (10-hydroxydecanoic acid) and 10-H2DA (10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid) fatty acids.
  The most important ingredient is apalbumin-1, at 2.5% in Arkoroyal®* royal jelly. It is beneficial for bees thanks to its nutritive and antibacterial properties.
  Royal jelly contains at least 100 times more apalbumin than honey. Fed exclusively on honey, a larva becomes a bee. Fed royal jelly, however, the larva becomes a queen and lives up to 40 times longer than its fellow bees. Although royal jelly was consumed in ancient civilizations, its properties have only been identified in recent decades.
• Ginseng (Panax ginseng) is a perennial plant belonging to the Panax genus of the Araliaceae family. Ginseng needs to be cultivated for at least 6 years for the rhizome to reach maturity and acquire all its qualities. Thanks to its stimulating and fortifying properties, Ginseng helps reduce feelings of fatigue. It is believed to act on the whole body, making an overall contribution to health and well-being.
• Acerola(Malpighia glabra) grows in the dry forests of Central and South America, and can reach 5 meters in height. It produces red fruit similar to the European cherry. Acerola is one of the richest sources of vitamin C in the world. Vitamin C helps reduce fatigue and contributes to a healthy immune system.
• Propolis is renowned for its rich flavonoid content (a family of polyphenols). Propolis' anti-bacterial activity helps maintain hive hygiene. Propolis is therefore known as the hive's "natural shield".
