Opticlude is a lightweight, flexible orthoptic shield featuring a flesh-colored Micropore backing, a hypoallergenic acrylate adhesive and an absorbent non-woven pad. This opaque eye bandage is perfectly suited to amblyopia rehabilitation.

Featuring a hypoallergenic backing, 3M™ Opticlude™ dressings can be applied and removed easily while being tolerated by the fragile skin around the eye. The adhesive of the orthoptic dressing is sensitive to pressure. The adhesive of the orthoptic bandage is sensitive to pressure, so the adhesive part of the bandage needs to be lightly massaged to ensure proper hold. Finally, the microporous backing (3M™ Micropre™) allows the skin to breathe.
