Weleda Soin Anti-Imperfections à la Saule 10 ml is a targeted, gentle and effective treatment to fight pimples and impurities while reducing redness. Containing antibacterial willow extract, it reduces pimples and blackheads, calms and soothes the skin, and reduces excess sebum. Skin is visibly healthier. Weleda's anti-blemish care targets pimples and blackheads that mark the skin.
These imperfections appear when too much sebum, a substance secreted by the sebaceous glands, is released. Sebum is normally produced to protect and moisturize the skin. Mixed with sweat, it forms the hydrolipidic film. But when too much sebum is secreted, it accumulates and the skin's pores dilate. This situation is conducive to the development of imperfections. These are mainly red pimples and comedones, either closed ( whiteheads ) or open ( blackheads). Skin becomes oily, particularly in certain areas of the face. It is marked by a shiny appearance.
Weleda's anti-blemish treatment eliminates impurities. It is applied directly to pimples and blackheads or whiteheads. It tightens dilated pores with astringent and soothing witch hazel distilled water. Its willow bark extract calms blemished skin. Another soothing ingredient is licorice root extract. Last but not least, willow bark extract regulates sebum production, thus acting on the root cause of oily skin.
