This shaving cream contains extracts of wild pansy to soften the skin. The components of this plant help to drain and eliminate certain toxins from the skin by natural means. Specific References

Moisten your skin with reasonably warm water, to soften the hair and rid the skin of impurities.
Apply a small amount of Weleda Shaving Cream to the skin, then moisten and lather with a shaving brush.
Make a first pass with the blade in the direction of hair growth.
Reapply Weleda Shaving Cream.
Gently stroke the blade again in the opposite direction to hair growth.
