Vectra 3D is a veterinary medicine used in dogs for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations, and as a repellent against midges, mosquitoes and stable flies. Its effects last up to a month, and it prevents fleas from laying eggs and developing for two months. Vectra 3D contains three active ingredients: dinotefuran, pyriproxyfen and permethrin.

Vectra 3D has persistent acaricidal and repellent efficacy against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus for one month, and Dermacentor reticulatus for up to three weeks).

Vectra 3D can be obtained without a prescription and is available as a spot-on solution in applicators in five dosages for use in dogs of different weights. The contents of a full applicator of Vectra 3D are applied directly to the dog's skin, after separating the hair, at one or more points on the back, depending on the dog's weight, or along a continuous line down the middle of the back from the base of the tail to the shoulder blades. The treatment can be repeated once a month.
