Each capsule contains 100 mg 5-HTP (5-hytroxytryptophan, derived from Griffonia simplicifolia), 100 mg valerian root extract 4-fold concentrated, 50 mg magnesium and 10 mg vitamin B6.

Native to West Africa, in particular Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire, Griffonia is a leguminous climbing plant well known to indigenous populations. The use of its seeds has long been recommended by local healers. It's only in the last thirty years or so that scientists have been studying it, in particular for its richness in 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), the amino acid precursor of serotonin, a key neurotransmitter involved in regulating sleep, mood and appetite.
Noxidrim's formula is enhanced by the presence of magnesium and vitamin B6, co-factors in serotonin synthesis, as well as valerian, another traditional plant known to promote sleep.
