Solgar CoQ-10 30 mg 30 Vegetable Capsules is a dietary supplement.

CoQ10 is involved in the respiratory chain, which produces energy for use by the cell in the form of ATP.
It is an intermediary that can cycle between oxidized and reduced forms, transferring electrons from one enzyme complex to another (from NADH dehydrogenase to cytochrome reductase).
What's more, CoQ10's antioxidant role protects our cells against the destructive effects of free radicals.
Of interest to sportsmen and women, it has been demonstrated that if CoQ10 intake is increased by dietary supplementation from 60 to 100 mg/day for 4 to 8 weeks, exercise capacity is enhanced.
Heart rate is improved in heart patients, lipid metabolism is more efficient, and VO2max and exercise time on the treadmill are increased (Source: Department of Biochemistry, Université de Montréal, Quebec, Canada. 2007).

Sugar-, salt- and starch-free.

Solgar CoQ-10 vegetarian capsules contain no corn, yeast, wheat, soy or dairy derivatives, and no preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.

Specific References

For adults, one vegetarian capsule a day, preferably with a meal, or as recommended by a therapist. Follow directions for use.

Binding agent (Microcrystalline cellulose): 242 mg
Vegetable capsule shell (Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) 74 mg
Coenzyme Q-10 (CoQ-10) (Ubiquinone) 30 mg
Anti-caking agents (Silicon dioxide, Magnesium stearate*) 8 mg
* From vegetable stearic acid.

Do not take if pregnant, except on therapist's advice.
Store away from heat, light and moisture.
Keep out of reach of children.
