Chlorella contains a wide variety of natural nutrients: proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and other factors such as RNA, DNA, CGF (Chlorella Growth Factors) and chlorophyll.

A unicellular globular alga that lives singly or in small groups, chlorella was only discovered in 1890 by a Dutch microbiologist, Martinus Willem Beijerinck, who carried out the first experimental cultivation. Chlorella is a very old algae, having appeared on earth around 2.5 billion years ago. It can multiply in both fresh and salt water, depending on the species and when the sunlight is adequate and the temperature is sufficiently mild. It reproduces very quickly thanks to photosynthesis.
