Rich in antioxidants and omegas 3-6-9, evening primrose oil protects against aging and strengthens nails, hair and skin. Evening prim rose oil is ideal for women over 40, or for all skin types in need. A precious, truly anti-ageing oil, to be incorporated into your skincare routine or consumed as a supplement as part of a healthy diet.
Evening primrose seeds yield an oil rich in gamma-linolenic fatty acid (a good omega 6), which has been used for centuries in massage or in remedies. The oil is reputed by some to combat chronic inflammation, as well as the hormonal imbalances of the (pre-)menopause.
Evening primrose oil contains :
- One tenth monounsaturated fatty acids (omega 9).
- Approximately four-fifths polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega 6, including nearly 10% gamma-linolenic, a good omega 6 with a reputation as a regulator and anti-inflammatory).
- Antioxidant sterols.
Compose your salad oil: 20% evening primrose, 40% rapeseed, 40% olive in order to receive fatty acids W3, W6, W9 for a nutritional daily diet.
Particularly fragile oil, consume within 3 months of opening.
