Treatment for adults and children over 6 months

Pouxit Shampoo is indicated for the treatment of scalp lice and nits in adults and children over 6 months of age. It can be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.

Insecticide-free formulation

Pouxit Shampoo does not contain any substance with a neurotoxic mode of action on lice and nits, but acts through a mechanical effect. Instead of insecticides, it uses naturally-occurring coconut oil to block the respiratory and excretory orifices of lice and nits, leading to their death.

2 applications, 7 days apart

Working in just 15 minutes, Pouxit Shampoo should be applied 2 times, 7 days apart.

Do not apply to damaged skin.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse with plenty of clean water. If irritation persists, consult a doctor. For external use only. Do not inhale. Do not swallow. In case of accidental ingestion, seek prompt medical advice, showing product label and instructions.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding :

POUXIT SHAMPOO may be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. As a general rule, during pregnancy and breast-feeding, always seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before using any product.

Use by asthmatics :

POUXIT SHAMPOO may be used by asthmatics.

Driving and use of machinery:

POUXIT SHAMPOO does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery. However, as surfaces in contact with the product may become slippery, it is important to rinse hands thoroughly after using POUXIT SHAMPOO, so as not to affect the ability to operate machinery. POUXIT SHAMPOO must not be used :

- in case of allergy to any of the ingredients,

- on damaged skin,

- in children under 6 months.

Shake bottle well before use,

Apply treatment shampoo to scalp and dry hair, covering it completely.

Massage into hair to completely impregnate.

Leave for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Separate hair into sections. Use the comb provided to comb through damp hair from roots to ends. After each combing, clean thoroughly to avoid any risk of reinfestation.

Repeat treatment after 7 days.
