Nidal Formule épaissie is an infant milk powder. It is suitable for children aged 0 to 6 months. Its formula is thickened by the addition of starch.
It is suitable for the special feeding of infants from birth when they are not breastfed, in compliance with regulations.
This 1st age milk provides the child with DHA, or docosahexaenoic acid. This is a long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid. It belongs to the Omega-3 family.
Nestlé Nidal is formulated without palm oil, a controversial ingredient. It contains GOS and FOS, galacto-oligosaccharides and fructo-oligosaccharides.

Sterilize the carefully cleanedbottle, nipple and ring for 5 minutes in boiling water, or with a suitable disinfectant.
Refer to the table of recommended quantities for the exact volume of water to pour into the bottle. Heat the water in a bain-marie in a saucepan or bottle warmer to a maximum of 40°C.
Add the exact number of measuring spoons corresponding to the volume of water (see table of recommended quantities). Press each measuring spoon against the rim.
After use, return the measuring spoon to its holder in the can.
Close the bottle with the sterilized nipple and ring. Roll the bottle between your hands, then shake vigorously up and down until the powder is completely dissolved. Check the temperature on the back of your hand.
Thoroughly clean the bottle, ring and nipple to remove all traces of infant milk.

The following dosage must always be observed: 1 level scoop (4.3 g) in 30 ml of water. An inappropriate amount of powder may lead to dehydration or deprive the child of adequate nutrition.
Use only the measuring spoon provided.
The frequency of feeding and the quantities to be prepared are average indications. The volume and number of bottles are to be adjusted by the Medical Corps to the needs of each child.

Warning: for baby's good health, it is important to use suitable water, a sterile bottle and to handle and store the product correctly. Follow preparation instructions exactly.

Clean the work surface and wash your hands thoroughly.
Prepare the bottle immediately before feeding.
Use mineral or spring water suitable for infants. It is recommended to give the bottle within one hour of preparing it at room temperature, or within half an hour if it is lukewarm. Don't hesitate to throw away the rest of an unfinished bottle.
Store the can tightly closed with its plastic lid in a cool, dry place, no longer than 3 weeks after opening.
NESTLE NIDAL Plus 1 requires the use of a variable-flow teat.
