Mepilex® Transfer exudate transfer foam interface is designed for use as a primary contact dressing. Its structure captures wound exudate and transfers the fluid to a secondary absorbent dressing. This combination of dressings maintains an optimal moist environment. Our Mepilex Transfer dressing is flexible, thin and highly conformable. This means you can easily leave the dressing in contact with the wound and periwound skin, even in unusual or difficult-to-treat areas. The dressing offers selective adhesion. It doesn't adhere to the moist wound bed, and bonds gently to dry skin, thanks to Safetac® technology - the exclusive pain-reducing silicone-coated interface. This makes removal easy and atraumatic for the skin . Which means less pain on removal for your patients . And the silicone coating helps seal the wound edges to reduce the risk of leakage and maceration .
