Onychomycosis is a nail infection caused by microscopic fungi.
They thrive in warm, dark, damp places (such as shoes) and feed on keratin, the main component of the nail. They cause discoloration of the nail (the nail turns white, yellow, etc.), make it more brittle or cause it to peel off (onychomycosis).
This infection is contagious and certain conditions can increase the risk of contamination, such as damaged nails, excessive perspiration, feet always trapped in poorly ventilated shoes, sporting activities in swimming pools or barefoot, etc.

MAVAMed Mycotic Nail Solution isa medical device that treats mycotic nail infections (Onychomycosis).
Its "Instant Killer" complex stops the development of mycosis in seconds, preventing it from spreading to other nails and the brush. It is composed of tea tree oil (inhibits the development of fungal filaments), a blend of essential oils - lavandin, eucalyptus - and lactic acid (reduces the pH of the nail to create an unfavorable environment for fungal infections) and urea (enables the active ingredients to better penetrate the horny plaque).

This product also acts as a physical barrier, preventing the transmission of mycosis.
It is intended for external use and topical application to the nail plate only.

Before applying MAVAMed Mycotic Nail Solution, remove all traces of manicure and wash the infected area with soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
Using the brush, apply the product twice a day (morning and evening) to form a transparent film over the infected nail.
Leave the treated area in the open air for a few moments, then cover the nail with a bandage for greater effectiveness before putting on socks or shoes.
It is important to continue using this antifungal until the infection has completely healed and the healthy nail has grown back. This may take several months (as a reminder, a toenail grows back completely between 9 and 12 months).
However, if no improvement is observed after 3 months, a doctor should be consulted.
