Ghassoul/Kaolin: Gentle cleansing for skin and hair.
The word Ghassoul (pronounced "rhassoul") comes from the Arabic ghassala, meaning "to wash". It's a natural clay used since ancient times to cleanse and wash the body.
White Clay is rich in Kaolin, which is light in color and very fine-grained. In contact with water, these clays swell to form a gel of pleasant consistency, which absorbs dirt and excess sebum like a blotter.
Ghassoul is 100% eco-friendly, as it contains no surfactants or other substances that could pollute wastewater, and is very well tolerated by the skin. It cleanses without irritating. Hair becomes silky, shiny and supple.
Ghassoul Powder gently cleanses skin and hair, as its cleansing action is based on a purely physical principle: when mixed with water, it binds grease particles and impurities, making them easy to rinse away.
