K-Y Sterile Lubricating Gel is a multi-purpose fluid gel used as a product accompanying various medical examinations. It is compatible with mucous membranes (it can be used as a lubricant to facilitate intercourse in cases of vaginal dryness) and instruments such as probes, speculums, endoscopes, etc.
This water-soluble gel is non-greasy, non-irritating and can be used in a wide range of applications. It is bacteriostatic, i.e. it is able to suspend the proliferation of bacteria.
Clinically tested, this sterile lubricating gel is designed to minimize allergic reactions. It is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and alcohol-free, and its pH of 5.5 is close to the natural environment.
Its composition makes it water-soluble, making it very practical when you need to put it in contact with water.
