Hylovis Lipo and Hylovis Lipo Multi contain sodium hyaluronate, a component naturally present in the eye, which helps protect and moisturize the ocular surface. Thanks to the physical properties of sodium hyaluronate, Hylovis Lipo and Hylovis Lipo Multi have a high water-holding capacity and viscoelastic properties that enable the formation of a lubricating, homogeneous and protective film on the surface of the eye. In this way, it acts on the aqueous layer to moisturize and protect the ocular surface. Hylovis Lipo and Hylovis Lipo Multi are hypo-osmolar to compensate for the deleterious phenomena (inflammation) induced by the hyperosmolarity of tears in dry eyes. Sodium hyaluronate also has mucomimetic properties, enabling Hylovis Lipo and Hylovis Lipo Multi to help anchor the tear film. They are preservative- and surfactant-free to optimize local tolerance.
