Boiron's Homéodent chlorophyll-flavored toothpaste is designed to care for sensitive gums prone to bleeding.

It contains silica, a slightly abrasive element that helps clean teeth and eliminate plaque. Plaque is made up of bacteria and residues. These bacteria are also responsible for tooth decay: as they feed, they secrete an acid that eats away at tooth enamel (the protective surface).
As plaque hardens, it turns into tartar, which can embed itself between the gums and teeth, causing gingivitis that can lead to periodontitis.
Boiron's Homéodent toothpaste is bi-fluorinated. It includes two active fluorine ingredients, sodium monofluorophosphate and sodium fluoride. Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel, enabling it to resist the action of bacteria.
Boiron has included three plant extracts in its Homéodent toothpaste: witch hazel, myrrh resin and calendula (marigold). Witch hazel is renowned for its calming properties and positive effect on blood vessels, myrrh resin is said to have a soothing effect on gum inflammation, and calendula reduces inflammation and plaque, soothing and stimulating the gums.

Apply as a 3-week course of treatment, 4 times a year.
Outside these periods, use Homéodent toothpaste for complete care of teeth and gums.
Recommended with homeopathic treatments.
