Gelsectan 60 capsules is designed to restore intestinal function in patients with symptoms due to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), intestinal hypersensitivity or certain medications, to relieve and prevent symptoms such as chronic or recurrent diarrhea, abdominal tension, pain, bloating and flatulence.
Specific References
Gelsectan should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to xyloglucan or to any of the other components of the product.
1 or 2 capsules, depending on the severity of symptoms, twice a day (morning before breakfast, evening before dinner) for 2 to 4 weeks. Treatment can be continued for longer if necessary.
Xyloglucan, pea protein and grape-seed extract, xylo-oligosaccharides, magnesium stearate (vegetable origin) and amorphous precipitated silica
- It is not necessary to consult a physician before using this product. However, consultation with a physician is recommended in the event of severe or persistent symptoms, or when there are doubts about the diagnosis, particularly in the elderly.
- This medical device is not a pharmacological treatment. If a healthcare professional is considering pharmacological treatment, it may be taken concomitantly with this product.
- Although no adverse effects are known, it is recommended not to use this product during pregnancy or the first months of breastfeeding, unless otherwise advised by a healthcare professional.
- Do not use this product after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
- Do not use if blister is open or damaged.
- Store at temperatures not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze.
- Keep out of reach of children.
