Fortimel® DiaCare is a high-protein, high-energy oral nutritional supplement with fiber, isomaltulose and sweeteners. Foodstuff intended for special medical purposes for nutritional needs in cases of undernutrition associated with carbohydrate metabolism disorders. Gluten-free.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

For enteral use only. To be used under medical supervision as a supplement to normal diet. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Use with caution in children aged 3 to 6. For enteral use only. Not suitable for patients requiring a fiber-free diet, or for patients with galactosemia or fructosemia. As any change in dietary habits is likely to affect glycemic control, it is recommended to start with half a bottle of Fortimel® DiaCare during the first few days of use, and to monitor blood glucose levels. It may be necessary to adapt the treatment. Phosphorus and potassium should be taken into account in the daily intake of patients with renal insufficiency.
