Designed for teenagers and adults, Elgydium clinic orthoprotect is effective for irritated oral mucosa. Easy to apply, this wax consists of wax strips whose main role is to protect the mucous membrane of the mouth and gums from friction.

These strips of orthodontic wax need to be warmed in small quantities, between the fingers, so that they can be placed on the band. Generally, this wax is applied to the cutting edges to avoid irritation.

This band has been formulated to relieve the discomfort associated with braces and auxiliary brackets. Recommended by dental professionals, it also helps protect gums, inner cheeks and lips, providing a pleasant barrier to the ends of braces. This professional technology is also designed for patients with partial dentures or metal clasps that cause discomfort, pain and irritation.
