Whether it's a car accident, surgery or some other kind of injury, many of life's unfortunate events leave their mark as scars. While almost everyone has one or more scars to remind them of such situations, some scars can be more critical than others. In addition to pain and possible physical discomfort, people can experience psychological impairment and loss of self-confidence, especially when scars are located on visible parts of the body.
