Directions for use

Rinse with 10 ml undiluted for 60 seconds.

Pre-operative: immediately before surgery.

Post-operative and following days: morning and evening, for 3 to 7 days.

Caution: For oral use only. Do not swallow.

CHX and natural ingredients

Dentists have been prescribing chlorhexidine for almost 70 years. And for good reason: it works. In addition to CHX digluconate, Perio Plus+ contains natural bioflavonoids extracted from the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara): CITROX®.

Enhanced effect

The bioflavonoids in CITROX® have powerful inherent antibacterial properties. What's more, CITROX® enhances the antibacterial effect of CHX. The combination of CITROX® and CHX digluconate makes Perio Plus+ exceptionally effective.

Presentation of the CITROX®/P formula

CITROX® is an all-natural product. It is a natural bioflavonoid extracted from the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and is particularly effective against bacteria, viruses and fungi. It is combined with another natural ingredient, polylysine amino acids, to create the CITROX®/P formula, which ensures good adhesion to teeth, gums and the oral mucosa for a long-lasting effect.

Pleasant taste without taste alteration

Perio Plus+ has a pleasant taste, thanks to CITROX® and the flavors developed by specialists at Givaudan. What's more, Perio Plus+ does not alter the sense of taste. From orange juice to pizza, all foods retain their normal taste.

Tips to minimize discoloration

During treatment with Perio Plus+, avoid smoking, coffee, black or green tea, red wine, red fruit, curry or saffron. This will keep discoloration to a minimum. Brush your teeth thoroughly with a toothbrush and consider using a whitening toothpaste such as those in our "Black Is White" or BE YOU ranges. Dentists can easily remove staining.

Warning

Use Perio Plus+ or other CHX-based mouthwashes only on the recommendation of your dentist. Under normal circumstances, use of this product is not necessary. Toothbrushes and interdental brushes are sufficient for cleaning teeth, gums and oral mucosa. Always follow your dentist's instructions.
