Quality toothbrush heads

NEOSONIC® electric toothbrush heads from NEOPULSE® adapt perfectly to different tooth contours, thanks to 3D brush heads with short and long bristles.

Toothbrush bristles are made of nylon and are perfectly adapted to transmit the right undulation created by the vibration of the electric toothbrush according to the type of mode selected, to effectively combat plaque while protecting your gums and the natural whiteness of your tooth enamel. Finally, NEOSONIC® toothbrush bristles are easy to clean and have excellent rigidity when wet, enabling them to return to their initial position throughout the brush head's lifetime (3 months).

At NEOPULSE® we use high-quality Dupont® Tynex® bristles for our NEOSONIC® toothbrushes, rounded to care for your teeth and gums, while being effective at removing plaque.

Why are the bristles rounded?

Quite simply because if the bristles of your toothbrush are cut without being ground round, you run the risk of micro-injuring your gums and, in the long term, damaging your tooth enamel, leading to tooth sensitivity.

First use: Remove the head from the brush handle by pulling firmly. Then insert the new brush head by sliding it along the stem (read the instructions carefully, everything is explained in detail, with diagrams).

To ensure good hygiene, the brush head of a NEOSONIC® electric toothbrush should be replaced every 2 - 3 months. NEOSONIC® toothbrushes have a wear indicator. When the blue bristles on the brush whiten by about 1 millimeter, it's time to replace it.

Important: remember, a brush head is renewed at least every new season, and automatically after you've been ill, once you've recovered. Even if your toothbrush head is in perfect condition, it's a good idea to change it. Why would you do this? Because the bristles of your electric toothbrush have been contaminated by microbes, viruses and bacteria.

Soft or ultra-soft toothbrush head?

The soft brush head is generally the most recommended by dentists, because contrary to popular belief, the harder you brush with hard bristles, the more you damage your tooth enamel, and the more you risk damaging your gums. The aim of tooth brushing is to effectively remove plaque (also known as biofilm) by gently peeling it from the surface of your teeth. NEOSONIC® soft toothbrush bristles are 0.152 millimetre.

The ultra-soft brush head is ideally suited to people with irritated or weakened teeth and gums, as well as after surgery or during pregnancy, as pregnant women undergo hormonal upheaval that can make their gums sensitive. During this period, when women need extra softness, choose ultra-soft strands to avoid bleeding gums. Children as young as 8 can also use it. NEOSONIC® ultra-soft toothbrush bristles are 0.127 millimetre.

If you're still deciding between the soft or ultra-flexible toothbrush head, talk to your dentist at your annual check-up.
