The main difference between organic and conventional cosmetics lies in the excipients - the ingredients that make up the "base". In conventional cosmetics, the base is made up of synthetic ingredients (silicones, polymers) which enable the creation of innovative, sensorial textures, but which have no action on the skin. Cattier Green Clay Ready to Use 400 g is particularly recommended for combination to oily skin, as it is absorbent, purifying and regenerating.it absorbs excess sebum and regulates its production, eliminates impurities and toxins, and revitalizes the skin by promoting cell renewal. Clay is rich in magnesium and minerals, enabling three actions: purifying, soothing and relieving. So it can also be used as a poultice.

Specific References

As a beauty mask : Apply the clay paste in a thick layer to the face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip contours. Leave on for around 10 minutes, without letting the mask dry on the skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water and dry skin with a cotton towel. Follow with a moisturizing cream.
As a cataplasm: Place the clay paste on a natural fabric and spread with a non-metallic spatula to a thickness of 2-3 cm.

As a poultice: Place the poultice, leaving the clay in direct contact with the skin, and hold it loosely in place with a bandage. If the poultice is to be applied to an irritated area, interpose a light gauze between the clay and the skin. Leave the poultice on for at least an hour. To remove, remove as much clay as possible, if necessary by moistening, then rinse the skin with lukewarm water and dry with a cotton towel.
