Conventional cosmetics generally contain many synthetic ingredients. Consuming organic cosmetics means using products formulated with over 95% natural raw materials or materials of natural origin, primarily from organic farming, rich in vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids...
The main difference between organic and conventional cosmetics lies in the excipients - the ingredients that make up the "base". In conventional cosmetics, the base is made up of synthetic ingredients (silicones, polymers) which enable the creation of innovative, sensorial textures, but which have no action on the skin. In organic cosmetics, these excipients are natural ingredients such as vegetable oils, butters and floral waters, naturally rich in fundamental nutrients that support the skin's vital functions (hydration and protection).
As they contain no mineral oils or silicones, organic cosmetics are more respectful of skin, health and the environment. They do not clog pores, allowing the skin to "breathe" and benefit fully from the many properties of natural cosmetic active ingredients.
