Treatment of flea, tick and chewing lice infestations (in cats)- Prevention of flea multiplication- Fipronil/(S)-Methoprene
Indications : In cats: For use against flea infestations alone or mixed infestations with fleas and ticks and/or chewing lice:- Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new adult flea infestations persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity), larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas for 6 weeks after application.
- Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product's acaricidal efficacy against ticks persists for up to 2 weeks according to experimental data.
- Elimination of chewing lice (Felicola subrostratus). The drug can be integrated into a treatment program for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), when previously diagnosed by the veterinarian.
