Burdock: Burdock (Arctium Lappa), also known as "ringworm weed", is a hardy plant with purple-purple flowers often found along roadsides. It is widespread in all temperate regions and grows at altitudes of up to 1800m. The part used is the root, which contains polyphenols and antimicrobial molecules (polyenes, polyines).
