• Royal Jelly contains mainly water, proteins and sugars, but also lipids, minerals and vitamins, as well as 10-HDA (10-hydroxydecanoic acid) and 10-H2DA (10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid) fatty acids.
  The most important ingredient is apalbumin-1 (2.5%) in Arkoroyal®* royal jelly. It is beneficial for bees thanks to its nutritive and antibacterial properties.
  Royal jelly contains at least 100 times more apalbumin than honey. Fed exclusively on honey, a larva becomes a bee. Fed royal jelly, however, the larva becomes a queen and lives up to 40 times longer than its fellow bees. Although royal jelly was consumed in ancient civilizations, its properties have only been identified in recent decades.
• Acerola(Malpighia glabra) grows in the dry forests of Central and South America, and can reach 5 meters in height. It produces red fruit similar to the European cherry. Acerola is one of the richest sources of vitamin C in the world. Vitamin C helps reduce fatigue and contributes to a healthy immune system.
• Propolis is renowned for its rich flavonoid content (a family of polyphenols). Propolis' anti-bacterial activity helps maintain hive hygiene. Propolis is therefore known as the hive's "natural shield".
• Honey is a complex substance composed of over 180 elements. It is essentially composed of sugars, the most important of which are fructose (38%) and glucose (31%), two simple sugars that require no digestion before absorption, and are easily and directly assimilated by the body.
• In addition, there is a wide variety of minor components, including phenolic acids and flavonoids, the enzymes glucose oxidase and catalase, ascorbic acid, carotenoids, organic acids, amino acids, proteins and α-tocopherol, and over 30 mineral elements (calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, copper, manganese, chlorine...).
